Youth Choirs Registration

Grades K-2 and 3-9

Rehearsals Begin on September 12, 2024

Cherubs Choir (Grades K-2)

Practice Thursdays 4:30 – 5:00 PM in the main church
 ~ No Music Fee ~

Children will work on the foundations of singing and being a part of the music ministry.  We will work on vocal technique and beginning music skills, as singers rehearse liturgical music which will be performed at several masses throughout the season.  All are welcome, and no prior music experience is needed.  Rehearsals begin on September 12, 2024.  Please contact our assistant music director with any questions, Amanda Bentkowski, abentkowski@stmargaret.org.

Children’s Choir (Grades 3-9)

Practice Thursdays 5:15 – 6:00 PM in the main church
~ $50 Music Fee per Child ~

Children will refine vocal technique and advance in their musicianship skills, as active music ministry participants.  They will develop leadership skills through their mentorship of the younger singers in our cherubs choir.  They will also have opportunities to participate in more challenging music alongside our adult choir.  We will rehearse more advanced liturgical music, including the various musical components of the mass.  We will perform at various masses throughout the season. All are welcome, and no prior musical experience is required.  Rehearsals begin on September 12, 2024.  Please contact our assistant music director with any questions, Amanda Bentkowski, abentkowski@stmargaret.org.  Music fee helps to fund the purchase of religious music repertoire and other supplies, which enriches the singers’ musical and liturgical experience.
